The Boat People – Single Launch
Brisbane/Melbourne indie boffins The Boat People launched the first single Awkward Orchid Orchard from their upcoming album Chandeliers at The Toff in Town recently. Always reliable to churn out infectious tunes over the years (check out Supernova and Unsettle My Heart), they’ve done it again with this one and no doubt will continue to infect ears (in a good way) as they continue to tour here and overseas.
The last time I caught them at the 2006 NewHereNowLive Xmas show, they were in equally fine-form albeit with a little bit more party hat action…
