Meredith Music Festival 2009

For the first time in a few years the weather played nice and afforded everyone the opportunity for a pleasant Meredith experience. The festivities were of course helped along by the likes of Jarvis Cocker, Eddie Current Suppression Ring, Tumbleweed and many more.

It was gumboots galore this year as the rain in Victoria seemed to fall mainly over the shire of Golden Plains. Not that it seemed to diminish anybody’s enjoyment of the likes of MGMT, Regurgitator, The Datsuns, Muscles and the City of Ballarat Municipal Brass Band. Point Nepean Festival 2008
The picturesque surrounds of Point Nepean hosted thousands of music aficionados and boating hanger-ons as they were entertained by the likes of John Fogerty, Mavis Staples, Keith Urban and KT Tunstall.
Good Vibrations 2008
Thousands descended on the Sidney Myer Music Bowl yesterday for Good Vibrations 2008. A little bit of Melbourne drizzle didn’t dampen the spirits as headline acts Kayne West and Cypress Hill rocked da bowl. More photos here.
Queenscliff Music Festival 2007
One of the few festivals these days to not sell out in 2.4 seconds, which is a good thing. Ye olde musical charm mixed with a dash of new artists and a hint of drunken schoolies, fun times all-round.
V Festival – Melbourne
The Rapture, Gnarls Barkley, Groove Armada and The Pet Shop Boys performed at the Myer Music Bowl on what was a chilly first night of the ‘Best of V’ Festival in Melbourne.

The St.Kilda Festival made a welcome return yesterday with thousands of punters rocking out on Port Phillip Bay to the likes of Regurgitator, Airbourne and Dallas Crane. Some fans went to great lengths for the attention of their local rock heroes.
The Falls Festival 2006
A special New Years Eve treat for thousands of wasted teens came with an unexpected You Am I/Wolfmother rendition of The Who classic Baba O’Riley.
